Transformation Information

  • Pretest

    This is an independent student activity testing their knowledge regarding when, how, and why the changes of puberty will affect them. Students will maneuver through the Transformation Information 101 classroom and answer multiple-choice questions.

  • Transformation Information 101

    In this lesson, students meet Coach Craley and the Transformation Team: Ted Testosterone, Ella Estrogen, and Paula Progesterone. The Coach and his Team help students understand the changes that go on in their bodies during puberty.

  • Puberty Tips

    Going through puberty is tough, but Puberty Expert, Coach Craley, can help! He offers some useful tips - like eating right, getting enough sleep and exercising regularly - that will help make the whole process a lot easier.

  • What If? No Way! WebQuest

    In this activity, students use the Internet to gather information about puberty and learn ways to cope with the changes that puberty brings.

  • Interview

    First-hand accounts of the puberty experience can help students better understand the changes going on in their own bodies. In this individual, "take home" activity, students interview someone they know about their personal experience with puberty and write down their responses.

  • Dunkin' the Coach

    Time for a review on puberty - with a fun game! In this version of "Hangman," students are given clues to words related to puberty. If they get the correct answer, the Coach gets dunked in the water tank.

  • Interactive Video

    Join Coach and our health educator Carol at the Byrnes Health Education Center as they teach viewers about the hygiene changes that occur during puberty.
