  • Pretest

    This is an independent student activity testing students’ knowledge of mental health and emotional well-being. Students will maneuver through the under water Pretestscreens to answer multiple-choice and true/false questions relating to self-esteem, bullying, acceptance, respect and healthy decision-making.

  • Decision Dots

    Decisions, decisions. Making decisions is not always easy, but if we have steps to guide us along the way, we will be better equipped to make good decisions. In this activity, students will work independently or with a partner to identify steps in the decision making process. They will then use these steps to assist Pozzi T in solving a dilemma.

  • Healthy Under the Sea

    In this animated activity, students will go on an under the sea adventure in search of positive self-esteem. Along with their instructor Scuba Sam and his side-kick Pozzi T, students will help their unique friends below be Healthy Under the Sea by making good decisions. They will explore five different scenarios and decide what should be done in each. Once they complete the activity, they will be awarded a certificate from their Healthy Under the Sea friends.

  • Orange You Neat

    In this paper based activity, students will discover the importance of being unique and accepting the differences in others. Students will compare and contrast oranges to answer the question, If an orange looks different on the outside, is it still an orange?

  • Cyber Simon

    In this collaborative learning activity, students will be encouraged to celebrate differences among their classmates and with students around the world. Cyber Simon will be along for the ride as students identify what makes each of them a unique individual. Students will also have the opportunity to make connections with students in their school and around the world.

  • Just Being Me

    Bullying can happen anywhere, at any time and to anyone. But knowing what to do when it happens is the key. In this activity, students will witness as Milton and Josh are bullied by kids at school. Are your students prepared to help them?

  • Match ‘Em Up Matey!

    Get ready for a game of memory, me harties. Pozzi T will guide students through this animated review game, putting their knowledge to the test as they match key terms with their definition. Once they have completed the challenge, Pozzi T will appear in full pirate gear to congratulate the students.

  • Interactive Video

    Pozzi T and our health educator Carol will guide viewers as they learn about bullying prevention at the Byrnes Health Education Center. Using engaging activities and critical-thinking questions, this video along with the accompanying lesson plan will encourage Kindergarten through 3rd graders to make healthy choices.
